Post funeral gatherings
If the weather is kind you can linger all afternoon with a picnic and play music. If it is less certain but you want to stay on site then several families have hired marquees with heaters that are placed near the entrance to the site by the Roundhouse and had local caterers.
If you are looking for caterers we recommend:
Bloomfields or Cotswold Caterers. Both are local and offer a range of delicious homecooked food.
If you are looking for a venue to hold a gathering the two nearest village halls with convenient parking are:
- Shrivenham Village hall - www.shrivenhammemorialhall.org (which also have a recently built new addition called the pavillion.

Be aware these do have regular events running in them and are not always easy to book when you want them.
For local pubs and hotels we have had good reports for those listed below, but please be aware chefs change and we cannot be completely up to date with the catering provided at all these venues so if you want to be sure go and have a meal or a drink there first.
