We began with a field and a crop of willow that was originally planted for biomass which never got used because Didcot power station changed their mind about using biomass. Gradually, the site has taken shape. We got permission in 2000 but were only able to offer a full service from 2011.

A lot of the planting takes places during Friends and Family Days in the autumn and here you can see work being done on the willow bower, White Horse Avenue, compost loos and other areas. Between times our site Manager Rebecca Brain looks after the site, mowing, watering and weeding when required.
