I believe passionately in people sharing their stories, getting better informed and feeling able to take as much control as they want around their deaths, funerals and bereavement.  Each person really knows what is right for them.  All they need is help to understand what is possible, where to find the right information and support with the whole process when required.

Huunuu is an online platform formed fairly recently who very much share this approach and they created a small online book festival for February and kindly included my book in it.  So I will be online reading some stories and talking about it on Wednesday 17th February at 7 pm.  For those of you kind enough to attend the launch it will follow a pretty similar format with just me reading and focusing in more detail on particular chapters.  Some of the other events look very interesting too. I shall be attending one on grieving in India culture and there is one about our digital legacy too that I believe will be very worthwhile.  Have fun browsing HERE

Some of you may remember us having a workshop with the lovely Mandy Preece who works with Felicity Warner as a soul midwife.  It was called Being Rock and was about how to support people who are dying or bereaved with active, deep listening.  She has recently created a facebook group for people interested in reading a range of material about death and dying and again she has invited me along. That is on Tuesday 23rd at 7 pm but is for the group only.  However, if it intrigues you it is an open group that you can sign up for.  See details HERE
