26 September 2020
Timings: 6pm – 7pm
This event is open to anyone wishing to come and spend time in a peaceful, beautiful place to remember someone who has died.
This year we will take some time to remember all those who have died from Covid-19, to remember those forced to die or mourn alone and all those key workers who lost their lives trying to save others. We have so much to remember and be grateful for and to mourn. And of course we will also be remembering everyone who has died and been brought to Westmill both in the last year and previous years. We hope that by September we can safely come together keeping social distance. If not, Liz will arrange a zoom gathering so we can be together virtually. So do contact the office in the usual way to tell us if you plan to come. I am afraid zoom will not work for those without computers. If we are able to meet together on site we suggest it is better not to decorate jam jars together so invite you instead to bring your own jar with wire or string handles and a nightlight if you would like to have one to leave on a grave or take home. The start time will be 6 instead of our usual 5 and we will not be serving tea although you are welcome to bring along your own thermos as we gather.
